WOF
We outsource WOF inspections so we stay independent of the process — you can trust the outcome, knowing we're never trying to fail your car on unnecessary items to generate work.
WOF Repairs
Failed a WOF elsewhere? We'll carry out the required repairs to get your vehicle back up to standard — brakes, lights, tyres, steering or whatever the inspector flagged. Once the work is done we'll make sure everything is sorted before you head off for your re-check.
Diagnostics & Auto-Electrical Problem Solving
Dealer-level diagnostic equipment, including Autologic and Launch platforms, used to find faults accurately rather than guess at them.
Brakes & Suspension including Air Suspension

Buying a BMW or Mini? We'll carry out a thorough independent inspection covering mechanical, electrical and diagnostic health before you commit.

If you have a rattling timing chain, we can check and confirm this, and assist with replacement to prevent major, costly engine damage.
Engine Valve Guide Seal Replacements
Noticed excessive oil use, or blue smoke from the exhaust? That's most likely valve guide seal wear — we can confirm the diagnosis and carry out the repair, faster than a local workshop or dealership, saving you time and money.
Battery/Alternators & Starter Motors
Electrical starting and charging system faults diagnosed and repaired accurately. If your car won't start, is struggling to hold charge, or is throwing up electrical warnings, this is where we start.
Clutch Replacement

Meet Bonnie, Workshop Manager.
Bonnie has been a fixture at Bellars Motor Works since day one (she's been coming to the workshop since she was a puppy). Her responsibilities include greeting every customer, supervising repairs from a safe distance, and maintaining morale across the workshop. She takes her role very seriously and as a free and unlimited service to all visitors, she offers pats, cuddles on request, moral support, and the occasional tyre sniff inspection.
